"This seemed like a perfect opportunity to voice my pleasure about how your agency handled my recent listing & sale of a commercial building located in Austin. I originally contacted you when I decided to sell my building. You recommended that Mark Milstead would be a good choice to handle the sale.

Mark contacted me within the hour and immediately sold me on his capability. Since I am located in California, I needed to make a decision on a Broker based solely on a phone interview. From the beginning, Mark impressed me with his knowledge of the local commercial real estate market, his good manners, and his overall interest in selling this property for me. I listed the property with Mark, and within 48 hours I had a full price offer. Mark reviewed the offer with me and helped to answer all my questions. After understanding the offer, I had several concerns about the language and terms. I expressed my reservations to Mark who understood what & why I wanted the changes. He immediately went to work contacting the Buyer's broker and got the Buyer to agree to most of my requests.

Mark was always available to meet the Buyer's Broker at the property during the due diligence period. He kept me updated on the progress the Buyer was making and was always available when I had a question. The Buyer needed to obtain a zoning change and went through a very long period trying to get the City of Austin to grant the change. Since the zoning change took 4 weeks more than the due diligence period, I wanted the Buyer to pay the carrying costs and taxes during the extended period. Mark worked very hard to get the Buyer to pay these extra costs.

The building finally closed escrow and this chapter is now closed, but I truly hope that someday again, I can have the pleasure of working with Mark Milstead. I cannot think of a negative thing to say about his performance during the entire process. I will recommend him to other friends when they plan to sell their commercial real estate."
